Vibrators for Congress
Who would have thought that things would get so bad in the US that people would be sending vibrators to Congress in hopes to change the current flow of political/economic shifts? When Trump swore into office earlier this year, the world expected things to get crazy, but no one thought things would get this batshit. From Trump firing half of his staff, banning cameras from entering the press room to a threatening health care bill that scares people more than it plans to help them, we seem to be living through an apocalypse.
Sexual health and wellness brand, Unbound, is not happy about current affairs. Especially when it comes to women’s rights. Their most recent campaign offers to send vibrators to Congress to help raise awareness about the disheartening truth that the proposed health care bill takes away rights from women. Not only do they think that this will help shock the conservative party currently running the country, but they agree that orgasms could do Congress members some good.
Good Vibrations
“If our government is going to pass legislation that affects millions of women and their access to reproductive health, they need to be aware of, able to talk about, and educated on the importance of female sexuality and sexual health. Through this initiative, our goal is to raise awareness that female sexuality is a crucial topic that cannot be ignored as we legislate for the future,” Unbound founder and CEO, Polly Rodriguez tells Marie Claire.
How can you participate? It’s pretty easy. Go to Unbound’s website and choose the congressman you wish to gift. It costs $15 to send a vibrator and 75% of each purchase will go to Planned Parenthood – whose federal funding is likely to get cut if this bill passes.
Don’t be shy! Help save half of the US population’s health care and rights by sending good vibrations to congress.
